After more than three months of answering your questions, we are now closing the INQUIRER COVID-19 INFO DESK as we move into more relaxed community quarantine rules.
We would like to thank those who have sought our help in clarifying quarantine and lockdown rules since March 20, 2020, and our general readers who also got important information from the answers we posted on the Covid-19 Info Desk.
For 101 days, we answered questions and clarifications on enhanced community quarantine rules and regulations, checkpoints, mobility and travel, food and financial aid, employment and OFWs, Covid-19 and health information, and even complaints on abuses and inefficiency.
It had been an amazing experience for us at the Inquirer Group, collaborating across our different news platforms and mobilizing our editorial network to get accurate, verified and timely information from official sources and health experts to help our readers navigate the unprecedented challenges brought about by the global pandemic.
In all, we received more than 2,600 questions and the Info Desk got over 630,000 pageviews and more than 406,000 users. Questions were sent to these channels: Info Desk email, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Covid-19 Viber bot and the Inquirer.net Disqus comments section.
Through the Covid-19 Info Desk, we hope we have served you, our readers, by getting you credible information to keep yourselves, your family and community well-informed and safe.
